If there is ever a time when the saints need to pray it is now.
But I will say this.
We need not fear the hour that we are in .
It may seem dark, and it is dark, but God is still God, no matter what happened today.
There is disappointment and sadness, but the Bible says, “This is the day the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it.”
Why is this Scripture used?
Because the devil didn’t make this day. Our God is Greater. Our God is Stronger.
It may look like the Lord lost this one but God is never a loser. He’s never lost. It’s man that is lost and the devil is the biggest loser.
Psalm 2 comes to mind.
The world is attempting to cast off His restraining power and break God’s bands asunder.
In the end, God rules. The end of the Book tells us that the Lord wins. Not the devil. So don’t worry. But sober up. These are the end of days. These are the last days. The last day is sealed in the heart of the Father. Only the Lord knows when He will end this thing.
What we need to do is prepare our hearts for what is to come.
The elite of LGBT is not through. They will press until they get the true believers to bow. But they should know that that will never happen. The compromised backsliding professed believers are now put on notice.
Your days of living in the comfort of sin is coming to a close. Now is the time to get it right because when the trumpet sounds, if you are not through with sin, you will not make it on the first call.
Many people observed that the way the Supreme Court ruled on Obamacare that the justices would do the same on SSM.
Rule in favor of Obama.
They were right.
The legacy of this president is secure.
Homosexualiity and federal anarchy over the people.
But it doesn’t change what the true believers of the Lord Jesus Christ is to do.
We must still call homosexuality sin no matter what the highest man court in the land is.
Nebuchadnezzar is not through.
A statue will be erected and the music will be played.
As with the three Hebrew boys, we will not bow.
Man’s temporary fire cannot be compared to God’s eternal hell.
We will still pray. We will still preach righteousness, holiness, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Just as they sent a decree that all men must not pray to any god, Daniel still opened his window and prayed to the God above all gods. To the lion’s den he went. But the lions were not hungry. The God of heaven and earth protected him.
Folks, this is not the time to be fearful.
Psalm 91:5-6 says
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”
Our job is still the same.
LGBT thinks it has won a tremendous victory.
The devil and his children thinks that they can roll the church over, which is next.
Persecution comes with the territory but our God is still in control when man is out of control.
There is no victory in sin. Sin will not win.
But here is the other side of the coin.
The perilous path that we are now on is clear. The days of America are coming to a close. This once great moral nation is now immoral. But there is still a light in the house of darkness. Where truth is lived and where the gospel is still the gospel of Jesus Christ, it doesn’t matter what the elite of LGBT does.
This ruling doesn’t change our job.
Will judgment fall on this nation?
Sound the alarm and be ready.
This is what must happen in the earth.
This didn’t catch God by surprise. He knew this day was coming before the world began. So neither should we be terrified. We need to be ready for what is to come.
As far as America is concerned, this is what happens when you vote for a president that has sin in his heart and the saints didn’t even perceive it. In particular, Black professed so called Christians that voted for Obama.
They never saw the sin in his messages and they’ve completely ignored the Bible.
They only saw skin color not sin color.
As far as the justices are concerned, it is no longer Black Robes Blind Justice.
It is Black Robes Of Darkness And Injustice.
Nonetheless, let’s stay focused. I leave you with this Scripture which I preached in Zion Baptist Church in Brooklyn NY as my trial sermon, at the start of the call of God on my life to preach 35 years ago.
The title of my trial sermon was “The Night IS Far Spent.”
Romans 13:11-14 “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”
