The Only Answer For Ferguson, MO. It’s A Brainer.

The decision not to indict Officer Wilson devastated the nation.

Michael Brown, an unarmed man was gunned down by Wilson. It is understandable that people would be upset, however, a deeper issue is being missed.

150,000 persons pass into eternity every single day. 1.8 persons per second.

As I have said before. No one is really thinking about the fact that Michael Brown is in eternity. What part of eternity? Most people want to assume that he is either in heaven or hell. If he made repentance to Jesus, then it’s a no brainer. If he failed to do so, he is in hell. Just because he may have died a horrible death, it doesn’t automatically award a person a place in heaven.

But the question is about you now. In a nano second, you and I could be plunged into eternity. Where will you spend eternity if you are not saved?

In hell.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27.

Few of us will look at it from the eternal perspective because of the darkness of men’s heart.

Just a few moments ago, a bunch of clergy in Ferguson stood on the stage with the mayor of Ferguson.

I must say that this is the day where preachers are ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are ashamed to preach the only solution to man’s woe’s. So long as man refuses to come to the Lord in repentance, more incidences will ensue. Eternity is a long time to think about why people refuse to repent of sin and be born again.

What’s more important to us is “race relations.” Not eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Some will say that I am missing the point. No. Because at the end of the day, everyone’s grain of sand in the hour glass will fall and the end of life will be realized.

Social injustice is first a spiritual injustice. What is the spiritual injustice? As long as man is in sin and refuses to come to the Lord to be saved from sin, more Fergusons will happen. Spiritual injustice? One person said that there is a “vacuum of leadership from the Black community.”

There is a spiritual vacuum of pastoral leadership to preach and live the gospel of Jesus Christ. But it’s not every where. There are pastors that are living and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in Ferguson, but people refuse to come to be saved by the Lord.

Here is the reason.

As long as the heart of man “is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked,” nothing will change.

More deaths will occur.

The Lord Jesus said this….John 3:17-21 says, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Paul said this in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

You see, it wasn’t the white man that won. The real person behind the scene won.

“…the god of this world.”

He is called satan or adversary. He is not a figment of a person’s imagination. Devils and satan exist and because men reason this into their minds that they do not exist and that Jesus is a myth, they are blinded.

Many will not believe the Bible, the Word of God. Many will not believe that Jesus is the Only Way, Truth, and Life (see John 14:6). Many will not believe that “Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Many will mock, sneer, and scorn the true Word of God.

Lastly, clergy that stand in front of microphones and are ashamed of speaking about the Only Solution, the Lord Jesus Christ, are compromised. When you are ashamed of the name that is above every name, they have denied the Lord.

Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation…” Romans 1:16.

It’s not the power of prayer that gets things done.

It is the God that answer prayer that is the true power behind our praying.

When you hear people say that they have the power of prayer, it’s a dead giveaway that they think that they can answer their prayers by just praying.

God answers prayer but the people that pray cannot compromise the protocol of prayer.

Praying to the Father in Jesus’ name.

They cannot withhold the name of Jesus as was seen in the Ferguson press conference with the clergy.

Compromise is a sure fire way to keep God out of the affairs of man. Especially when you are ashamed to use the name that is above every name.

When you call on the Father in Jesus’ name, there is no shame. Because they are afraid to speak the name of Jesus, the Lord will deny them before the Father and the holy angels. When you fear man more than you fear God, it’s a revelation of the true god you serve. You may not like this, but I am not writing this to be liked.

The truth is what it is.

Deal with it.

Pulpit Whoremongers – Parishioner Whores

There probably was a time when the fear of God served as an incentive to abstain from the sins of the flesh.

Since the day the dispensation of grace entered, the devil uses the same old tactics to trip up the believer.

In the OT, Numbers chapters 19-25 revealed the reason why the children of Israel were stopped in the plains of Moab.

Sexual immorality.

According to the Lord Jesus in the Book of Revelation, Jesus revealed the reason behind Israel’s failure. Balak, king of Moab, was in fear of the children of Israel because of the other nations that were wiped off of the face of the earth. The Moabites were so fearful that they got physically sick. To know that you are about to be killed would probably make anyone sick.

Balak asked for the services of a seer. The double agent, Balaam. Balak paid a hefty diviner’s fee to get Balaam to get the God of heaven to curse the children of Israel. God told the prophet that He cannot reverse the blessing. Not that God would reverse it because a deeper reason as to why God wouldn’t curse Israel is before Him.

The Seed (the Lord Jesus) was determined by the plan and purpose of God to come through Abraham.

To curse the children of Abraham would mean the end of the plan of God to send the Seed to save man. Below this is the fact that the Lord, by His immutable counsel, blessed Abraham and God will not change His mind (Malachi 3:6).

To further pervert man, sexual immorality is the one thing that was used in an attempt to pervert the promise of the Seed as spoken by the Lord in Genesis 3:15.

Sexual perversion among pastors is still a major issue. More than ever, it is being addressed, but not regularly. It’s only when we read about another pastor falling into Secret and Overt Sexual Sins that we start talking about it.

In most of Paul’s writings, we see that he addressed it regularly.

Notice what he said in Ephesians 5:3-7 “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.”

The word “fornication, fornicator.” It means “whoremonger.”

Pathetically, pastors that are not disciplined in their private lives, will be exposed publicly.

The combination of pastoral whoredom and parishioner whores is still wreaking havoc in the church.

Just because there are other subjects to deal with, if we fail to keep a watch in this area, we will get into trouble.

Jesus said in Matthew 26:41, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

If the disciples could fall asleep, there is no difference in falling into sexual sins. It is when we are not attentive to the moments of vulnerability that we fall into sin. Temptation comes at any time, however, it is when we are weak that temptation is at its strongest. The will to fight isn’t as potent. That’s why every opportunity of temptation is used to weaken your resistance.

Temptation is like a torture test.

Each drip is designed to break your will, where you just can’t resist that one hot looking man of woman. Sooner or later, if you are not careful, you will give in to this temptation and fall into sin. That’s why Jesus went to the place of prayer regularly. To avoid the place of falling into sin as a result of being tempted. The obedience He learned (see Hebrews 5:8 and Philippians 2:8), paid off and when it was time for Him to die, there would be no question about His resurrection.

The glory that He had before the foundation of the world would be restored to Him.

Just as Hebrews 12:2b said

“…who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

His obedience earned Him the name that is above every name, a seat at the right hand of God, and authority over everything in heaven, earth, and under the earth. Until all things are subdued and then the Father resumes as Lord of all according to 1 Corinthians 15.

There is no question about the ratio of men to women. Predominantly, more women are in church than men. Women are not the problem. Sexually immoral women are part of the problem. The combination of sexually immoral women and sexually immoral pastors raises the potential of a scandal. When it comes to scandals, it all started years ago when sexual inquisitiveness entered people at an early age.

For people, being married to one person is not enough. “Extramarital affairs” is really illegal sex on the side.

When pastors and female parishioners commit adultery and or fornication, they risk being denied entrance into the kingdom. As Paul said by the Spirit of God, “fornicators” have no inheritance in the kingdom of God.

They must repent of sin. It is evident that the kind of whoremonger is that of the world, however, what about those that practice fornication as a believer?

Were they a believer in the first place? Were they genuinely saved?

As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? — unless indeed you are disqualified.”

Here’s how you examine yourselves.

Paul said in Ephesians 4:17-24 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

If you are walking like the world, your salvation is suspect. If you are giving yourselves over to lewdness, your salvation is suspect.

If you are coming to church looking to “score,” your salvation is suspect.

Level one sexual addiction is porn, masturbation, adultery, fornication, prostitution.

It takes obedience, faith to implement or apply the Word of God, and courage to abstain from sexual immorality.

Sack time with Sister Suzy-Q is the staircase to hell. Sack time with a preacher is not worth going to hell over.

That’s what people do not think would happen. That when a person commits sexual sins, they are still going to heaven.

Read carefully 1 John 2:15-17. And read Ephesians 5:3-7.

Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 21:8, and Hebrews 13:4, while you are at it.

Hell is full of people that never repented of sexual immorality. They never judged themselves.

If you are a pulpit whoremonger or a parishioner whore, the Lord offers forgiveness when you repent.

There is no need to turn the house of prayer into a gentlemen’s club.

Mastering The Urge Like Jesus, To Never Masturbate

Setting Captives Free by Mike Cleveland has a very intense and challenging course called “Way To Purity.”

I’ve taken and completed this course and received a certificate. I can say that this course challenged me in more ways than I could ever imagine. But it gave me the fortitude and determination to forever kill, deaden, and deprive of power the animal impulses that were lurking in my members. The porn part was killed in November 2008, but the masturbation lingered until 2009. Since that time, I’ve had some relapses until I needed to stop the hypocrisy and live a life the way Jesus did in His sexual discipline.

Since the last relapse early this year, 2014, I’ve been able to finally put to rest the urge to masturbate. Because Jesus did, I can because it is by His grace. I’ve learned to set a watch over my life the way that Jesus did and I catch every little move I make. The fastest way to lose the anointing over your life is when you do not catch yourself in an instant and remind yourself that you are a dead man. Dead men do not respond to sin. I am alive unto God and that’s the only way to live. Dead to sin, alive to God. Obeying His Word and denying the flesh any chance to run amuck.

Also I am back on the street preaching beat.  You can’t talk about deliverance, full and complete if you are a hypocrite in front of sinners. You can’t preach with unction if you commit sin like sinners. As Lenard Ravenhill once said, “A praying man will never sin, and a sinning man will never pray.”

Setting Captives Free deals with porn and masturbation in the lives of men.

The last time I checked the site, there were over 3 million hits.

But I’ve also noticed the amount of men and women that actually either started the course or have completed this 60 day course.

Yes.

Sixty Days.

The amount of men and women that started or completed the course was approximately 300,000 persons.

Unless I am wrong, that’s 10 percent that dared to break free of porn and masturbation. The course is designed with an accountability partner that will not let you off the hook should you fail to maintain your pursuit to holiness and purity according to the Scriptures.

Not everyone will appreciate an accountability partner because depending on who you get, it will not be pleasant. I believe in accountability because when we attempt to do accountability on our own, we will do a “mulligan.” We will make up the rules and should we feel the need to cheat, we will do so unhesitatingly.

I do not believe that because of an accountability partner watching your answers at the end of each course, whether you’ve watched porn or masturbated in 24 hours is the reason why many would not do the course.

I believe that it may be part of the reason but it is not to be blamed. The accountability part is there as a very serious integrity factor because in the end, you have to answer to the Lord. You can lie about it but you will be guilty of two things.

1. Sexual immorality.

2. Lying.

Both of these are listed as persons who will be cast into the lake that burns with fire and brimstone forever according to Revelation 21:8.

Pornography, for most men is just fuel to the fire. So a man could masturbate without watching porn.

If you are really honest with yourself, you will note that masturbation is the most difficult part to break because solo sex is muscle memorized. The mind and body expect you to release sexual tension anytime. To have to answer the question about whether you’ve masturbated or not is a very embarrassing question because it shows that you are either in control or not.

One of the fruit of the Spirit is “self control.”

As a born again believer, you have within you the Spirit of God. Paul also calls this the Spirit of Christ. There is a reason. You have Jesus in you by the Spirit. The same self control that Jesus exhibited when He walked the earth is in you. This means that at anytime, you can obey the Word of God every time.

This doesn’t mean that you are perfect. This means that you can stop masturbating any time you want to.

When you are driving a car, and you approach an intersection. The light turned red. What do you do? You come to a stop.

At every intersection, the same thing happens. The urge to run that red light is tempered by the fact that you will hurt or kill yourself and others. That’s the top of your worries. The secondary worry is a ticket, a fine, or a suspension, or revocation of your driver’s license.

These things reinforces this one fact that it is in your best interest to stop.

When it comes to masturbation, we do not think about stopping.

We invent ways to get it done and we deceive our minds into thinking that the Lord would forgive us.

1 John 1:5-10 serves as a reminder that when we deceive ourselves, we are not fooling God. 1 John 3 declares to us that when it comes to sin, we either have the seed of God or we are of the offspring of the devil. We cannot practice sin or lawlessness and practice righteousness at the same time.

So mastering the urge to masturbate must be a way of life until death.

Jesus was a man subject to the same passions as we, yet, He didn’t sin (see Hebrews 4:14-16). Jesus sympathizes with our weakness and He identifies with them. What we need to do is identify with His obedience and His desire to please the Father at all times. Mastering masturbation begins by learning how Jesus obeyed the Father.

John 8:29 tells us that Jesus always did those things that please the Father. Jesus went to the place of prayer and He was found customarily in the temple or synagogue reading the Word or the law. As long as He found Himself doing these things, temptation would come, but He would master these temptations by obeying the Word.

Jesus learned obedience according to Hebrews 5:8 through the things He suffered.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:41 that the “spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.”

In our weak moments, the grace of God is at its strongest. But we have to find grace.”

In other words, we have to exert the effort to get before God to prevent ourselves from falling into temptation. The urge to masturbate usually occurs in the morning or late at night. But anyone could masturbate at any time. The male system is designed to be sexual at any time. However, it is during these times that a man is aroused the most. His mind is not engaged at work and is at rest so when a thought or image of sex comes, it is very easy to engage the hand in sexual self foreplay.

It is in these moments I believe that Jesus was challenged the most. But the Lord had developed a way out every time. He got up to pray. He changed His venue. Many times I thought about the fact that the Lord Jesus got up to pray but my only reason was because He wanted to be more anointed to minister.

Luke 4:18 tells us that Jesus was anointed.

Not only did Jesus wanted to fellowship with the Father, He got up to pray before He fell into sin after temptation.

The Bible says that Jesus sympathizes with us and that we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our weaknesses. In other words, Jesus never would tell us to deal with it because He dealt with temptation Himself. Jesus knows what we go through so He can help us defeat the urge to masturbate provided we change our venue, get up and pray.

It is too late to pray for strength after sinning.

I used to think that if I just go through the process of masturbation without ejaculation that I didn’t masturbate.

That was a lie and I deceived myself. Any form of sexual self contact that arouses the flesh is a violation. To prevent myself from doing this, I had to change my venue like Jesus. Additionally, I had to tell myself that it is hypocritical. The hands had to stop traveling and the mind had to stop self deception. The urges are strong but they are never stronger than the grace of God given in times of weakness and weak moments.

Any laps of the mind and hands and you will find yourself where you shouldn’t be.

So learn to change your venue. Get up and pray. Get up and read the Word. Change what you are meditating on. Refuse to look for ways to get around the sin of masturbation. Learn to discipline yourself before you wreck yourself. The Holy Spirit will give you a way out to overcome temptation. He is the same Holy Spirit that worked with Jesus during His time of temptations according to 1 Corinthians 10:13.

You can master the urge to masturbate just like Jesus did.

Chronic Or Excessive Masturbation : Establishing Personal Holiness & Discipline

Surprisingly, 63 percent of those who participated in this survey were female,
and indicated that 20.4 percent of people masturbate at least three or more
times per day. Among the other key findings:

* 79.6% masturbate 0-2 times per day;  15.2% 3-5 times a day;  3.8% 6-10 times;
and only 1.4% masturbate more than 10 times a day.

* 48% believe that their masturbation frequency is below average; 45.4% said
frequency is average; and 6% believe that their masturbation frequency is
above average.

* 45.4% either agreed that masturbating can cause problems in their
relationships; while 29.3% neither agreed or disagreed and the rest of the
participants disagreed.

* 18.3% are either extremely or very ashamed of their masturbating habits; 23.8%
are either slightly or somewhat ashamed and the 57.8% are not ashamed at all.

These statistics came from “Reuters.com,” and the link to this site is provided below.

It is clear that chronic masturbation is a serious problem in the Body of Christ. While these stats are not reflective of just professed believers, there is no doubt in my mind that this is a serious problem in believers today. There is no question about porn being a problem in the church among professed believers, however, the associated sexual activities are rarely discussed.

Pun not intended, porn and masturbation go “hand in hand.”

No one watches porn and doesn’t act out sexually.

As with most people, many men and women struggle with watching porn. Porn is accessible, available (free and PPV), and could be seen anonymously. Substitute porn, such as newspapers, the weather women, the early morning show of “club” dressing women,” movies and with soft porn, TV shows, and other venues where sex is readily seen can inflame lust in the hearts of people in an instant.

These trigger mechanisms are strategically designed to inflame the urges and impulses.

Listen to the Amplified Bible’s version of what Paul said in Colossians 3:5-7.

“So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin] :sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).

It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will), among whom you also once walked, when you were living in and addicted to [such practices].

In looking at the statistics, these categories reveal how often a person masturbates in a 24 hour period.

If you note the last statistic, 57.8% are not ashamed at all of masturbation.

I know what that’s like.

The mind and the body made a very powerful statement to the human spirit.

It loves masturbation and we (mind and body) will do everything in its power to keep this going.

Have you ever thought about this?

The urges and impulses are so strong and dominating that the mind abandons any Word from God to be delivered. The mind also goes into a sense of hopelessness that it has subjected itself to accept the fact that this is the way that it’s going to be for the rest of your life on earth.

There are many men and women that deliberately made this declaration. At the same time, they also seek freedom. Regarding those in the 58.7 percentile, I could be wrong, but having been in this trap, it is clear that there might be a common form of abandonment denial that is evident in all man.

The pleasure is too strong to give up.

This is what helps the denial. The pleasure.

Sex was designed to be pleasurable. However, solo sex is more pleasurable because you make up the rules. You do not need another body. You can stop and start at anytime. Day or night. You do not have to wait for your wife to be sexually ready. You do not have to relate with another person. You do not have impregnate them. You do not open yourself to STDs.

Just before you think I am giving you the OK about masturbation, be very careful here.

This WAS the way I was thinking when I was in the cycle of sexual addiction level one.

When something has you in bondage, you are not free. Even if you are in the 79.6 percentile.

I built my whole day on watching women and filing their shape in my mind in complete violation of Matthew 5:27-30.

But all that was is just fuel for the engine of lust in my deceitfully, desperately wicked heart.

The cycle of satisfaction to climax is always the goal in masturbation. You see, you could do without the eye candy and go on muscle memory because masturbation is all about you. And you may disagree, but you are doing you and that is a form of homosexuality or lesbianism called solo sex. But this doesn’t deter anyone from masturbation. When the body seeks pleasure, reasoning yourself out of this past time is not an option.

Unless, you are serious about changing your ways.

The amount of masturbation is not really the pursuit. It’s the lust in a man’s heart that craves physical intimacy.

You see, it is always lust in the mind and flesh. All the other needs of man are secondary.

Affirmation……..secondary. Love……….secondary. For females……connection needs……..secondary.

Notice again what Paul said.

“…sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).”

Masturbation is about all of the above.

It is the idolizing of the genitals.

I know that this is graphic but that’s what it’s about. Even with homosexuality, it is about the idolizing and deifying of self.

One of the signs of the last days is that men would be “lovers of themselves.”

This is the deification of man. This deification of man is the worship of himself. The highest way that this is done is in sex. Particularly solo sex.

When you workout in the gym, there are mirrors. There are posters. In the supermarkets, there are sexually explicit magazines. Even innocent pictures give that hidden suggestion of sex. The words is just the story line but when you see what you want, your mind goes on the hunt to fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Especially when you look at someone that you want sexually. You take that back to your bedroom or whatever room you do self solo sex and the rest is history.

What is the solution?

How do we deprive of power the evil desires lurking in our members?

The Bible gives us the sexual purity of Jesus.

He regularly went to the mountain to pray.

That’s lesson one.

Jesus got up and changed His venue.

He regularly applied the Word.

That’s lesson two.

In the temptation of Jesus, He regularly said, “It is written.”

Establishing personal holiness and discipline is not easy. Anyone that told you that this is easy is a liar. Jesus was tempted in all points like us, yet, He didn’t sin. That means He was tempted to masturbate and Jesus was tempted to be a homosexual. Hebrews 4 said, “All points.”

But the way that the Lord Jesus handled business with His flesh was by prayer and applying the Word of God.

Finally, notice that the Lord Jesus mentioned in Matthew 5:27-30 the eyes and hands. Pluck the right eye out and cut the right hand. There is no question in my mind that Jesus also meant masturbation because we use our eyes to seek out a sexual object and we use our hands to masturbate. Although there are ways to stimulate yourself without the use of hands, it is still a form of masturbation because you are not involved sexually with your wife.

But you have to begin doing something about disciplining your eyes and hands.

Get up from that place where fantasy, ritual, acting out takes place and find a place to pray and put your hand on the Bible. Open the Scriptures and begin to meditate on God. Everyone has a starting point. Start there and be consistent.

Victory was already achieved on the cross. Now it is time to follow Him, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him.

Pastors, Adultery, & Divorce

There are many pastors and believers that are unaware of the “ironclad” rules of divorce as dictated by the Lord Jesus and concurred by Paul.

For years, we have seen people get married. Then, for any other reason, except sexual immorality, get a divorce and get married again, and again.

Reducing marriage to whoredom and harlotry (see Leviticus 20:1-24).

What did Jesus say about divorce?

He didn’t say much but what He said packs a punch in the world’s system where a “do over” is permitted.

For years, we’ve watched what the Lord Jesus observed with the woman of Samaria without caring what The Lord intended in Genesis 2:24, and we wonder why LGBT is seemingly successful in wrestling marriage away from God’s people (see John 4:1-26).

Having 5 men and living with one that isn’t her husband. Clearly a violation of the law. Although the Samaritans, by the way, are cousins of the Jews, yet, they still claim to worship the Lord. We find this similar pattern with believers of the Lord Jesus today. We claim to worship at a place but we do not worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

There are millions of believers that have divorced for any other reason except sexual immorality.

We have done what Jesus mentioned in Matthew 15.

“…transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition.”

The world permits marriage after divorce as many times as you want, but what does the Word of God say?

What did Jesus say?

To me, we have completely ignored what the Lord said and called it “love.”

Doesn’t this argument sound familiar?

The homosexuals call it “love” because they believe that if two persons of the same sex love each other, they have a right to be married.

Well where did they get that from?

From the people that believe that if they divorce, they are entitled to be married to another, and another.

To be married again is only permitted if a spouse commits adultery and the one that didn’t commit adultery has a right to remarry, provided that they do not marry a person that is divorced.

Yet, we have circumvented the Word of God, completely ignored what the Lord Jesus said, and acted like the world to marry, divorce, and marry again at will. This is partly the reason why sexual immorality is increasing in the people that profess to know Jesus. When divorce is an option, people will exercise that option. When the Lord Jesus closed the option, He wanted to make sure that we get the message.

That marriage is for life.

The Lord put Proverbs 18:22 there for a reason.

“He that finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.”

When it comes to seeking a wife, brothers, you have to take your time and make sure that you know that this is the one for life.

It’s called due diligence.

In other words, make sure it’s the one you want. If not, Paul’s admonition is excellent.

It is good for a man not to touch a woman.”

Ladies, you cannot be so quick to “lock him down.”

Do your due diligence.

Do not ignore your intuition guided by the Holy Spirit. Those warning signals are there for a reason. Do not push it aside because you are about to get married.

Those signs are there to be read. If you go past the stop signal or sign, it’s on you.

There are a lot of people that are ill-prepared for the rigors of marriage. More people prepare for the wedding with elaborate details but they fail to prepare for the marriage, long term, until death. The first three years of marriage tells the tale of the tape. If either one of them continues to act childish, either one of them will claim “irreconcilable differences” as the reason to divorce.

The Bible is clear about that. There is no such thing as an irreconcilable difference. The couple has chosen to separate or divorce because they have chosen not to reconcile the difference. In other words, like two little brats, they hold fast to their position, and refuse to mutually negotiate a compromise to mutually benefit the relationship.

So they make up reasons and attempt to justify them and end up divorced. Then they happen to want a person back in their life other than the first person they marry, and they walk down the isle again. The Lord is very specific. If they divorce for any other reason than for sexual immorality, and they get a divorce, it is wrong. And if any one marries a person that is divorced, commits adultery.

We’ve allowed the rules of the world to circumvent the Word of God, and all we have is whoredom and harlotry in the house of the Lord.

Over 13 years ago, we’ve seen a woman come into the church with children from either a marriage or from fornication, get married to two men, divorced these two men from the same church, and ended up marrying the married pastor of the church she twice got married in. The pastor did the wedding for this woman twice and ended up marrying the twice or more divorced woman and destroyed his marriage.

It goes without saying that the wife of this pastor was completely devastated as well as this growing church was devastated and destroyed.

As a result, some of the men in his church decided to divorce their wives and left a wake of confused women.

We’ve heard of a bishop that told his first wife that God said that she was not the one. After 16 years of marriage and two children. He marries another younger woman just 7 days after the divorce was settled. Now, we all know that the Lord can speak before the marriage and tell you to look for another.

Why would the Lord tell you after 16 years of marriage that she was not the one?

A praise and worship “artist” while married commits adultery, a baby is birthed out of wedlock, they get married after over a year together and everything is ok?

Are you kidding me?

Hebrews 13:4 is still in the Bible. And the rock that gets thrown into a pack of dogs, the first one that gets hit, is the one that hollers. I guarantee you that many will holler because there are many that never repented. They may have asked for forgiveness but we’ve gotten that wrong. God offers forgiveness to the one that repents. When you plan on never repenting, it is an indication that you plan on sinning again.

True repentance means that you are done forever with sin, including our favorite ones.

It seems to me that adultery and fornication, or Secret Sexual Sins is man’s favorite sin.

But we have failed to realize that we hurt God, and innocent people in the process of our Selfish Individual Needs (SIN).

It shows you that some deceived men are just as wickedly deceived as some woman. On both sides of the pulpit, we have people that are sexually immoral and we refuse to confront these tough issues because we don’t want to hurt people. Never mind the fact that we hurt God bad. Never mind that He created us for His glory but we have brought shame to His name.

We have tracked mud for years into His presence and only the wise are careful enough to have enough sense to remove our shoes in His presence.

If we do not go back to the standards of the Word of God in the areas of marriage and get this thing right, we could talk about Secret Sexual Sins all day long and nothing will come of it.

I am finding that there is little to no teaching on the subject of adultery and divorce. We have changed the commandment of God for the commandment of men. We have allowed ourselves to take an eraser and completely alter the Word of God, and we wonder why we are so jacked up?

And because preachers are leading the way back into darkness, the people, like priests, follow cheerfully to judgment.

Then there are people who will refuse to follow the correct teachings of marriage and destroy themselves, not caring at all about the high standard of marriage set and itched in stone in the Word of God.

Below is a chart I’ve developed to help us to understand the simplicity of adultery and divorce.

Take the time to read the Word of God about adultery and divorce.

These verses of Scripture are not that difficult to understand, yet, we avoid a very tough issue to permit sin in the camp.

Domestic Violence is a criminal act. Common sense dictates that separation and or divorce is the only recourse when the person initiating the violence is obviously a clear and present danger to the life of the spouse. If a change of heart takes place, reconciliation is permitted.
If no sexual immorality was committed, yet the husband or the wife still seeks a divorce, neither are to be married again, but they could reconcile the relationship.1 Corinthians 7:10-11 Widows and widowers may remarry. Virgins may get married.1 Corinthians 7:8-9Death Obviously

1 Corinthians 7:39

There is no such thing as an irreconcilable difference. Two people decide not to reconcile their differences because they choose not to compromise or relinquish their position. This is no grounds for divorce according to Matthew 5:31-32, 19:9, but if they still insist on getting a divorce, they are not permitted to marry another person. They can only reconcile their relationship and remarry each other.
