Homosexuals Persecuting The Lord Jesus Christ: Our Response And Duty

Paul said these powerful words,

Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”

Many of us forget that Paul received the gospel by revelation of Jesus Christ.

Note what Paul said in Galatians 1:11-12.

“But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

The book of Romans is the revelation of Jesus Christ regarding sin. In chapter one, Paul received this revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ about the sin of homosexuality. Why did Paul mention the sin of homosexuality in verse 18 through 32?

Homosexuality is the end of the line when it comes to the highest sin performed by fallen man.

Now, we know that there are many in and outside the Body of Christ that will say “sin is sin.”

But look at it from God’s perspective.

God never rained fire and brimstone on adulterers, fornicators, liars, etc. We only see God pouring fire and brimstone on practicing homosexuals to emphasize His utter contempt and displeasure at people who sin on this level. Already in Leviticus 18, we see that the Lord called homosexuality “an abomination.”

As I have said, when the two angels entered the city, instead of repenting of their sins, they wanted to commit sodomy with angels. This automatically displays the level of depravity of men. That regardless of what God said in His Word, they deliberately intended to defy the Lord.

Such as it is today.

No matter how much preaching we do, sinners insist on defying the Lord.

God sends mercy, and man rebuffs God’s loving act of mercy.

As a result, their choice to continue in sin was a signal to God that sin had to be judged.

That’s why fallen men is all the time trying to change God and it never works that way.

God was never in the wrong.

Man was found in the wrong.

We must remember that the Lord created us in His image.

The Creator has every right to do what He deems best for man, even when man strays from the original purpose. In defiance, when the Word is preached, even though people are addressing us, they are addressing the Lord.

This same person that is now called Paul, was Saul of Tarsus, a Pharisee, and a persecutor of the Way. On the road to Damascus, the Lord appeared to him and asked Saul, “Why are you persecuting Me?”

So those in sin, and in particular, practicing homosexuals, are directly persecuting the Lord.

They may be talking to us, but they are talking to the Lord in us.

So it is true that they are calling the Lord a bigot, discriminate, and homophobe.

The highest form of depravity is the sin of homosexuality. They know it and we know it.

At the same time, while we tell people that this is the highest form of depravity, we offer the highest form of deliverance.

The power of God to deliver anybody, anywhere.

The persecution of the Lord will intensify.

On a different note….

Already in Brazil, they had displays of two homosexuals on a cross kissing each other.

In that picture, they had “LGBT” inscribed on the cross.

The blasphemous, abominable picture and story in Brazil could be seen and read here.

Clearly blasphemous.

The Lord Jesus said that blasphemy against the Father and the Lord Jesus would be forgiven.

This level of blaspheme is not the last stop. The elite of LGBT worldwide is not happy until the true believers are fully subdued. Meaning, that we are stopped from preaching the Word of God. That we are forced to perform SSM. That sacred property, exclusively used for the worship of God is open for use by practicing homosexuals.

There was a picture of two male homosexuals in what appears to be a catholic church, naked and obviously doing vile acts in the house of worship. Desecrating the house of God is the ultimate disrespect from the devil to God and to the true believers.

Regardless of which way the Supreme Court in the United States go, pastors must accept the fact that the devil will not stop.

Neither should we.

No matter which way they rule, it is not over.

Therefore, strength and conviction is required for this hour.

This is the real fight of faith that we are up against.

If there is ever a time for the people of God to get a gut check, it is now.

Never in our lives have we been faced with challenges that will try what we truly believe. And to see if we are going to stay in the faith or withdraw.

But what else is the elite looking to do to those that rebel against the sin of homosexuality?

While ISIS is beheading “non believers,” it wouldn’t be surprising that the elite homosexuals take a page out of the playbook of ISIS or ISIL.

That after certain laws are passed in the U.S. in their favor that beheading Christians for intolerance of the sin of homosexuality is acceptable.

In the Middle East, there are many martyrs, beheaded for the testimony of Jesus.
Just today, I observed the beheaded men by ISIS. Their heads were decapitated and placed on the ground next to each other. Others were put on sticks. Some heads were spiked on a fence. Bodies on the ground without heads. This would make anyone pause and think about their relationship with the Lord. Then there was a little girl whose head her father held while a friend or relative held the body without her head.

Why am I mentioning this?

We do not know to what lengths the persecution of Christians in this nation may go.

We must be prepared for the worst.

If the SCOTUS rules in the favor of conservative values on SSM, I believe that the Lord is giving this nation grace to do more work for the kingdom. But let’s just say that it doesn’t go that way. Are we prepared to stay with the Lord, or run in the face of persecution?

This is not the time to be a yellow belly, and run.

Although a few pastors have accepted homosexuality in the churches and leadership, it is cowardice in the face of the enemy. It is treasonous. We cannot be found to wilt under pressure from culture.

We must stand and fight. Contend for the faith. Stand strong in the hour and fight.

The Lord of the heavenly armies is with us.

We are not alone.

“If God be for us, who can be against us.”

The Lord Jesus shed His blood for us. The Champion called the Lion of the tribe of Judah is with us. We must not be found faltering. We must be found on our posts, ready to do the Master’s will.

Even if it will cost us our lives.

Persecution Over Sexual Immorality: Silver Bracelets, Steel Bars, And A Stainless Steel Toilet Bowl

The early church was confronted, and persecuted for its beliefs in Jesus. In comparison, the church today is Club Med. We are riding to the Caribbean on a cruise ship. We are dancing the night away and having a good time. The more you become salt and light in the earth for the Lord Jesus, the more you become a target to be persecuted.

Your finest hour of faith is not going to be your car, house, boat, or money from book royalties. Your finest hour will be your testimony for the sufferings of Christ. Can you fellowship with the sufferings of Christ?

We’ve been reading our Bibles wrong and we have misquoted so many “stand in faith” Scriptures.

Paul imprisoned many and consented to the deaths of Christians. Yet, Jesus personally enlisted him and Paul ended up being a martyr for the Lord.

Hear what the Lord Jesus said in Mark 10:28-31,

“Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “ Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

The thing that we are ready for is the abundance when we leave all for the cause of Christ but we are not really ready for the persecution that is incrementally rising in the United States. We are conveniently comfortable. But all this is about to change whether you are ready for it or not.

Sexual immorality is the most divisive issue of our day.

When you talk to someone about their sins, sexual sins, Secret Sexual Sins, their participation in sex sins is worth more than money, drugs, alcohol, cars, house, or any other thing.

When you tell someone that they have to give up sexual immorality, you are taking a great risk because they will fight to the death to keep sexual immorality.

It’s not just homosexuality, it’s all sexual sins across the board.

The life of sin is so difficult to break from because of the promise of complete fulfillment.

All sexual sins, or any sins for that matter, gives this promise but it’s just a carrot on a stick that teases.

As the Lord told us, “…and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.”

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation.

The child of God today need to be aware that persecution is part of the price for being a child of God. You are salt and light in the earth and the devil is looking to render you ineffective in your walk before the Lord. If the devil cannot render you ineffective, he will intimidate you.

Fear for your life is one of the many tools that they enemy will use to get you to back away from preaching the truth of the Word of God. That’s why we need to shift our message. Not to confront as radical extremists but to preach the Word of God in season.

You are not liked. You are hated because of Jesus.

Therefore, you are a target. We had it good for a while. Nobody bothered us because we weren’t living lives of conviction. We didn’t have to tell anyone that we were a Christian. We kept things to ourselves but with GPS capabilities attached to your phone. With every credit or debit card purchase. With swiping a card to gain access to your job. When you log on a computer. Whether it is yours or the company you work for, you are being tracked to the maximum.

Your whereabouts is crucial because if they can determine what you believe, all they have to do is see what you’ve been up to and what your habits are.

Yes, big brother is watching you almost to the nano second, everything that you do.

Your habits are telling everyone what you are really about.

Why is this important?

Persecution is about to move from passive annoyance to chasing you.

You don’t think so?

The way that things are set up, do you honestly believe that the world is not going to bother you for your allegiance to Jesus? Do you think that by not carrying a Bible except by electronic devices that no one will discern who you really are?

I am not trying to scare you to live right. I am just warning you that our nice Christianity is about to experience a jolt that will require that you stay vigilant in Jesus. To not be moved away from the hope of the gospel.

If you study the writings of Paul, you will see that they were living in perilous times.

So perilous that if you knew Paul, your life was in danger. Every where Paul went, he started trouble and that’s the kind of Christianity the church is not aware of. We are not packaging a stand to be hated. We are already hated because they hate Jesus. We are not making a “confront the persecutors” package.

But when you know persecution is about to hit this nation for its stand against same sex unions, the sin of homosexuality is becoming the one thing that the world dares the church to unapologetically stand against.

The goal of persecution is to silence the voice of righteousness. To stop the defection from darkness to light (see Acts 26:18). Hence, NO H8’s duct tape over the mouths to silence people that speak the truth about the sin of homosexuality.

Soon, we may see duct tape over the mouths of saints as full blown persecution takes place. At this point, murder is against the law but we may see the day where the murder of a child of God that speaks the truth, and is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, is welcomed news.

It is interesting that the Book of Romans starts off talking about not being ashamed of the gospel of Christ and then in that same chapter, ends up preaching against same sex relations, the sin of homosexuality.

It really fascinates me to know that God was preparing His people for the hour we are now living in.

People of God, we are in the end times and this is not the time to be ashamed of Jesus.

This is the time to be firmly planted in the faith of Christ.

If you read the writings of Paul, you will see that many people that were once in the church left because of the persecution. But it wasn’t the only reason. Sadly, some people loved sin more than they loved the Lord.

Many were turned away to listen to other false teachers and prophets that had major connections to sexual immorality. If that is not enough, the persecution comes directly from members of the Body of Christ; people that supposed to “know God and their Bibles.”

You won’t know what a person believes until the moment of truth.

Just look at your family members.

How many of them are caught up in situations of the world of sexual immorality or substance abuse? You know that they know that you are into the Lord and His Word. The moment a conversation goes into Jesus, they are quick to shout you down because of their love for sin.

When you go to church, you didn’t expect so and so to be a practicing homosexual. You didn’t expect your pastor to come out of the closet and admit to his or her homosexuality and then persecute the righteous for not being tolerant. You didn’t expect that so many people would be for the president when he announced his support for gay marriages.

All of a sudden, the local church is seeing the demarcation. There is a deep divide on a simple sin/righteousness issue (see 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). And the divide in most local churches is not surprising.

In some cases, there’s no divide at all. The whole local church is for sexual immorality or the whole local church is for righteousness.

The hour we are living in is late and dark. We must make up our minds to stand in the face of persecution and dig deeper into Him like never before.

The hearts of men are failing everywhere and the world is proceeding on a perilous course that will separate the weak from the strong. The desperate for sin from the desperate for God. If you haven’t experienced the hatred, and the false prophets of our times to deceive many, you will.
