1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV Strong’s)
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
Ravi Zacharias was probably one of the most prolific apologists of our times. He would say some tremendous things that really made you pay attention to see if you know your Bible as you should.
We were sadden to hear that Ravi Zacharias had passed away on May 19, 2020.
He was loved and adored for his ability, by the Holy Spirit, to exegete the Word and expound on passages of Scripture that many believers had problems understanding.
In just few sentences with insight from the Holy Spirit, passages of Scripture would unfold and come alive like turning on a light switch. His wisdom over the years have help many believers understand their faith in the Lord, and how to present a vigorous defense of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is missed.
When I heard of the allegations of sexual immorality of Ravi, I discounted it when he accused his accusers of extortion. It’s instinct because of the accuser of the brethren. So like many believers we’ve taken what Ravi said as face value because of his impeccable integrity. When a man or woman has unquestioned integrity, Paul calls it “blameless.”
In fact, when the world can’t find or assign blame on you, it gives them a good indication that their life must measure up. Billy Graham had that kind of integrity to abstain from the minefield of sexual immorality.
There’s no question that the world tried to trip Billy Graham up but because he put safeguards in place, blame on sexual matters never found a place. Obviously, there’s other areas where Billy Graham was vulnerable and suffered for it, like his admission on the Nixon tapes about Jews, and other things.
But in this area of sexual immorality, Billy Graham is blameless.
After Ravi shared his defense, I thought that it settled the account. Then after he had passed away of cancer, it shocked the Christian world.
Later we’ve learned of a NDA, which is a Non Disclosure Agreement.
Much like what Harvey Weinstein made all his women he had sex with would do to protect Weinstein’s reputation and protect him from lawsuits.
It caught up with Harvey and he’s currently serving a prison sentence.
When ministers of the gospel engage in adultery or other sexually inappropriate behavior, even when it’s online solicitation, private chat rooms, and rendezvous at far or near hotels, because of their international reputation, such accusations is immediately challenged until the parties no longer agree to remain silent.
Since Ravi Zacharias died of cancer, the details are now coming out.
Luke 12:2-3 (NKJV Strong’s)
“For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.”
A man of God must remain above reproach because when the accusations start to come, your integrity is all that’s left. Once you lose integrity you lack credibility. Once you lose credibility, you’re disqualified.
1 Corinthians 9:25-27 (NKJV Strong’s)
“And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty.
Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”
Once you’re disqualified, there’s very little that one could do.
Many ministers, after they’ve sinned against the Lord and are exposed, they’ve lost their credibility and fight vigorously to regain it.
When I was in the world of pornography, the Lord warned me over and over again, until I exposed myself. I rationalized that if the Lord exposed me like He did David, I would be disqualified.
So I penned the book Secret Sexual Sins. It wasn’t as good as it could have been but I penned another book Secret Sexual Sins II, MOAB. It’s in this book that I reveal more about the sexual immorality infiltration of local churches.
One person put it powerfully, “If you expose yourself, you keep your job. If God exposes you, you lose your job.”
So in blogs, and podcasts, I began to put out my involvement in the vile sin of pornography and masturbation. Usually, and not with everyone, sexual addiction will take you to places that you thought you wouldn’t go. Keep you longer than you thought, and make you pay more than you’re willing to pay.
Millions of men and women are caught in porn and self gratification.
This isn’t to say that Ravi was a sexual addict. It’s highly unlikely. Paul admonished Timothy to remain pure, to be an example of purity before the people
You can’t tell people to be pure if you’re not pure.
As we reach the end of our journey, we want to be genuine and legit. We want to maintain our integrity and credibility. We want people to say at the conclusion of our lives that this man or woman of God maintained his or her integrity and is blameless.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV Strong’s) Paul said….“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ravi died of cancer.
Without much thought, I put two and two together.
Paul said “If we would judge ourselves we would not be judged.”
Many will say that Ravi wasn’t judged, but are you 100% sure?
It’s instinctive to push a narrative to save the personal reputation of people, especially when your ministry or business is involved in millions of dollars. And when you stand in front of people, they have a certain expectation of you.
When you lose your hard earned reputation, when people walk, money walks with them.
They look at your integrity, they believe you, and they put stock in your credibility. Once this is attacked, nothing but an ironclad defense will salvage it. The NDA provided that deniability that preserved some measure of his reputation.
As long as the parties remain silent, and pay a little money, the alleged incident remains hidden. And even if you violate that NDA, the other party may hold themselves to the agreement for fear of being that aggressor in the agreement.
The Lord loves us so much that exposure is the last straw. When we fail to listen, or refuse to listen to the warnings of the Lord, the Lord will uncover us. Not just to bring shame on us, but to ensure that we come back to Him in repentance.
Because the most important thing is not the salvaging of our reputation, but the saving of our souls.
You can conclude what you want from this, but Ravi left way too soon. But now, with these new reports, we can see why he may have left us too soon.
Not only. was he was involved with another woman online, he denied the allegations. According to the report, he became a predator.
In the book, “Betrayal Of Trust,” there’s two kinds of pastors that engage in sexual immorality.
“Wanderers and predators.”
A wanderer is one that engages a single time of adultery. A predator insists on repeating his or her offense. Their obsessed with the success of engaging in sin.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 (NKJV Strong’s)
“Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”
When you lose being afraid of God, it’s very easy to sin, but sin always come with a built in consequence. No one gets away with it. We’re given space to repent because the Lord is full of long-suffering, mercy, and truth. But when we insist, it’s a matter of time before the Lord see that He’s about to lose you.
Ravi may have repented and regained his rightful place in the Lord, but to ensure that the Lord doesn’t lose what He sent His Son to die for, sometimes, according to Isaiah 57:1-2, He takes the righteous.
He crossed the line and the woman sadly didn’t stop it soon enough.
The woman in question can share the blame because you don’t have to answer every email or go to the chat room. Silence is another way to declining further contact that opens up doors to sexual encounters.
When you’re engaging online, you have to have clear established boundaries. Failure to maintain those boundaries, leads only to consequences that damages the validity of the gospel, and brings shame to His name.

We all know that among all of the other sexual hotspots of the world, Brazil is ranked very high as one of the most prolific sexual immortality places in the western hemisphere.
But first, in one of my blogs is some information regarding the origin of the word “homophobia.”
There is no etymological word and its purpose is to place a stigmatization on people that are against the act of homosexuality. The equation of hatred against the act of homosexuality and the person that practice homosexuality has found its universal word to place on anyone as a tag.
This tag is considered as an all purpose tag to make it appear that a person hates a homosexual person. Even when that person preaches and lives the righteous Word of God, and lovingly explain from the Bible that God declares the sin of homosexuality an abomination.
But that’s only half of the preaching. A child of God will also inform homosexuals that you can change with God’s help to obey the Word.
Paul tells us in Ephesians 4 that we’re to speak… “the truth in love.”
So now, in Brazil, it appears that if you say anything against homosexuality, it’s now a crime.
It’s what the world wants.
To outlaw righteousness and make lawlessness the law.
The practice of homosexuality has dire consequences. All sexual immorality has consequences, but when it comes to homosexuality, irrevocable consequences could occur.
The complete irrevocable elimination of the operable immune system is the penalty imposed on those that defy the original plan of God for sex within the confines of one male and one female in holy matrimony.
The outlawing of homophobia stems from the fact that homosexuals are attacked and killed. We should point out that a true believer in Jesus is not intimidated by any laws to prevent the preaching of the gospel. We’re not expressing a fear of people that practice the vile sin of homosexuality.
Phobia is just an expressed fear.
Much like a fear of heights, closed spaces, certain foods, flying, sailing on ships, etc.
Killing someone that practices the vile sin of homosexuality is just as wrong as practicing homosexuality.
However, just because a person preaches against practicing the sin of homosexuality, a law shouldn’t be imposed on those that practice the true and living gospel of Jesus Christ.
It’s like passing a law to prohibit a firefighter from entering a burning building to save a victim.
We all know that there’s loveless people that will kill homosexuals, but we also know that this law is also targeted towards true believers that cry out to God to help homosexuals be set free.
We can’t make a person free.
Only the Lord can free a person once a person no longer desires to be held captive in sin.
We all know that extreme loveless preaching without offering the only remedy is negligent. Preachers can’t preach with an attitude of hatred, arrogance, and pride.
As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NKJV Strong’s) “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”
Now, before we go further, it goes without saying that love doesn’t participate in the practice of homosexuality or any sin for that matter.
Look at what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:6 (NKJV Strong’s) Love…“does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth”
And the world want us to love homosexuals while they practice the sin of homosexuality, and accept them all as God’s creation.
This cannot happen because the whole purpose of the gospel is to give us good news that God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus, to pay for our sins, and to deliver us from the power and guilt of sin.
Jesus died to free us from sin, not to remain in the condition to practice sin.
So far, man is incapable of finding a cure for the penalty of homosexuality.
This is the ultimate goal of man when a consequence occurs as a result of practicing sexual immorality. To find a cure to avoid or remove the consequence.
Much like trying to find a way to be immune from the penalty.
Pills will take the place of the immune system until the disease completes its course.
With certain sexually transmitted diseases, we’re seeing these diseases mutate and overcome the remedy. So should they be allowed or stumble accidentally into finding the right combination of chemicals to attack and defeat the disease, over time, the disease will find a way to defeat the remedy.
But with regard to what’s happening in Brazil, this is just another way to get the world to do the same.
The believers in the U.S. should take note.
You can read the article here
There’s many professed believers, even in matrimony, that believe that oral sex is no big deal.
In this report from FOX News, even in monogamous relationships, you could acquire the Human papillomavirus (HPV) disease.
Which further emphasizes the fact that STDs is there for a reason.
Many will defend oral sex and that’s expected.
Sadly, to their own peril, but at least you know that you could have avoided it if you’ve exercised sexual discipline.
Whether you’ve watched porn, then introduce what you’ve seen into your bedroom, we should never sin against the Lord and against our own bodies in the fulfillment of the lusts of the flesh and mind.
Many will argue that what goes on in the bedroom is your business.
But when the Lord institutes STD as consequential judgment against sin, God was already in your bedroom judging your sin.
A man walked across the street while I was waiting at the light with a shirt that said….
ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME
I said, yup, He sure will judge you.
Shirts like this is just a spin on Matthew 7:1.
When a person is convicted of sin and attempts to make arguments to continue in sin, shirts like these is a clear attitude of deliberate intent to defy God and His Word.
For the record, there is no specific verse in the Bible that declared that oral sex is forbidden. There is no specific verse that declared that masturbation is forbidden.
The other argument is that if the Bible is silent on these areas, we should be silent too.
On the contrary, just because the Bible is silent, it doesn’t give you permission.
Because there is no specific verse giving you permission to engage.
God put within us the ability to discern right from wrong.
When we’re asking questions to obtain permission, it is a search to justify sin where the Bible is silent. The Bible’s silence demand you come to the conclusion that you do not have permission, and therefore, you do not have God’s authorization.
PLUS……since STDs are associated with oral sex, or sexual immorality as a whole, it is further evidence that it’s prohibited.
If we were smart, we would see that STDs are only associated with lawless sexual acts and do everything in our power, as true believers in the Lord to be obedient and abstain from the very “appearance of evil.”
In normal sexual relationships, within holy matrimony, you are practicing safe sex. Besides, if you truly love your wife or husband, you would never introduce things of the world to do harm to them.
But, like I said, people will disagree.
The reason for such disagreement is that they’re experiencing a world of pleasure that they’re unwilling to give up. And that, in and of itself, is a bondage which hurts you in the long run.
If I am legally married, will oral sex send me to hell?
Absolutely not, unless you’re presently engaged in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bisexuality, zoophilia, and other forms of sexual immorality, those sins are hell bound sins.
SO if oral sex in a monogamous faithful husband and wife relationship will not send me to hell, then why bring this up in the first place?
We see that STDs is connected to oral sex.
IF you want the HPV disease that is associated with oral sex, by all means, continue to engage in the act. It’s a matter of time before the results manifest. Just trying to get people to see that there’s certain things that could be avoided. It’s a clear warning to you.
Now if you want to ignore this warning, then it’s on you. You were aware of the risks and decided to continue in this behavior.
Proverbs 14:18 says……“The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.”
Proverbs 22:3 says…….“A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.”
Oh, btw, this HPV disease isn’t one of those things that flare up until perhaps months or years after acquisition. That is, if you continue to engage in oral sex, the possibility of it flaring up is inevitable.
All the more incentive to abstain from this behavior that opened the door to the disease in the first place.
Psalm 107:17 says, “Fools! Because of your transgressions and because of your iniquities are afflicted.”
You do not have to be afflicted.
Meaning……you are a fool when you open yourself to sin and reap its rewards.
The FOX News report could be read here
Would you want Jesus to lust after you?
Sadly, eye candy is what some, not all women become when “Easter” comes around.
They shop for clothing that is not appropriate for any church service.
Body hugging, low cleavage, high skirt hemline.
Well, they are only dressing according to the goddess of fertility and sexual immorality. Is it any wonder that some women dress sexually provocative?
satan has always perverted the most holiest day of the year.
The crucifixion of the Christ took place, coinciding with the Hebrew calendar, on the month of Nisan during the time of the annual atonement and release from the house of bondage of the children of Israel. The month of Nisan is the first month in the year for the Israelites.
According to Exodus 12, the Lord instructed Moses to tell the people to kill a lamb without blemish of the first year, take its blood and place it on the door posts and lentil. They were to eat the lamb, burn its entrails and other non edible parts, eat herbs, unleavened bread, with their staff in their hand, sandals on their feet, ready to leave Egypt.
The death angel would come at midnight and “passover” every house that had the lamb’s blood on the door post and lentil, sparing the firstborn in that house. But Egypt’s firstborn would not be spared.
This was to be a time of celebration in awe of the great deliverance that God would give the children if Israel.
This would be a type or shadow of the NT sacrifice of the Lamb that take away the sin of the world.
It would be an unmistakeable sign to Israel that Jesus, the Messiah, had died for the sin of the whole world. But they’ve rejected this Man and the sacrifice.
Early church fathers would turn this sacred ceremony into a festival. With eggs, and today, chocolate bunny rabbits. In modern times, fashionable dressing also became a part of the festivities.
I remember growing up as a kid that my mom and dad would buy new clothes for us to wear during this time but I never connected the dots.
Today, we see that when people come to church, they don’t care what they wear.
Inappropriate dresses are dead give aways that all they have on their minds is sexual attraction.
Some will say, that it’s all in your mind preacher.
Well let me ask you a question?
When you have to pull up to cover up, or pull your dress down to cover down, do you think that this is normal?
Almost in every local church, some one will come in with cleavage, or showing a lot of body and leg. Making it very difficult for the heart of a lust filled man……….or theses days, homosexual women.
Then there is the praise and worship singers that wear inappropriate clothing while “ministering.”
And the pastors will not take appropriate action to stop them at the door. They’d rather have the crowd instead of correcting this behavior.
Summer is coming too and you know that when it gets too hot in a service, covering up is not going to happen. I’d much rather prefer that you ask the Lord if He approve of what you are wearing or not wearing.
It’s much better not to come to church and go to the bar than to make the church a night club.
Self control is all in the Bible and modest dress is also in the Bible.
We do not have “elderly mothers” to stop this madness at the door any more. If they exist, it’s extremely rare.
We are too afraid to confront, discipline, and when necessary, stop them at the door.
A parent is having a very difficult time disciplining her son about what he is watching on the Internet. She comes to church with a dress to attract men.
Well, what do you expect?
Next year, it will be the same thing in many places. And sadly, men will not concentrate and IGNORE the sexually provocative seductress that comes to the house of worship to be worshipped.
So if you are wondering why we are seeing what we are seeing, just look at the source of the trouble.
Easter is not about “PASSOVER.”
It’s about sexual immorality.
Pastors and ministers that operate covertly do so for one reason, continuation of their Secret.
Galatians 6:1 says “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.”
To get to the gist of this, the debate is more about how soon should a pastor or praise and worship leader, or any minister be restored to minister?
While there is no Biblical example of a timeframe in which a person could minister again, we know that the current examples set the bar very low as to how soon one could be restored.
First things first.
Each person’s temperament is different, but the Lord and His Word is the same.
When it comes to Secret Sexual Sins, this is where it all must begin.
It was once said that a person shouldn’t be “too transparent.”
We all know that if we are going to kill something, full disclosure is required. To leave out any details, sensible details lacking salacious statements, is the kind of concealment that most men and women depend on.
A balance has to be struck as to what is reasonably transparent and sharing declaratively forbidden salacious details.
It’s in the secrecy of a thing that a person could easily return to commit sexual sins. Therefore, it must be noted that for any one to recognize contriteness of heart, the degree of a person’s divulging of his or her heart, fully opens up the heart to receive the healing touch of the merciful love of God.
Psalm 40:11 “Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.”
We ask the Lord to do this for us but what are we willing to do to receive all of it?
James 5:16 says, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.”
Notice that “trespasses” is plural. Now the argument that will be stated that James didn’t say “confess ALL your trespasses…..”
The price of receiving His lovingkindness and tender mercies may require that you confess your trespasses to one another.
The power of the disease is not just the sexual immorality committed in the life of a pastor and his adulteress partner.
It’s in the secrecy.
John 3:19-21 says “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
This is true for believers as well. Believers that desire to commit sin will work secrecy in the same manner. But to work the works of darkness, a believer must come out of the light and leave holiness at the door of the house of sin.
Secrecy is the mode of operation because if few to none know about what went on, you can continue to minister like nothing happened. But few of us read the story of David. Or we totally ignore it.
Especially when the prophet, by the Holy Spirit, revealed David’s sins, hidden in secrecy.
While I was in the Secret Sexual Sins of porn and masturbation, I rarely, if not at all, mentioned holiness, sexual sins, unless it was just homosexuality, and deliberately avoided my own personal life.
The purpose was that if I didn’t own up to these sins, I can continue in the sinful pleasures of the world. I would quickly ask God for forgiveness, in vain, preach, and then go back to the vomit. I suppressed the convicting power of God for that two hours of being in church.
One of the things that you are aware of is that you know you lied to God. I wasn’t serious about repentance. It was all a hypocritical joke. My life busted the sides of the devils as they were laughing at me about how I was running my life.
Today, the Lord showed me what these devils were saying about me. No one likes being laughed at like a fool.
“If only he knew how he could be free.”
To be free, I must give up ALL MY SECRETS.
I must expose what I’ve done in darkness.
Paul said in Ephesians 5:11-13 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.”
I had to painfully expose these areas in my life in order to be free.
Psalm 90:8 “You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.”
It’s not that the secret sins were freshly discovered. God knew about this before I was born. He was just waiting to see if I would decide to keep myself by His grace, or fall into sin. He was prepared to go in either direction. Because He knows all things.
It’s only until a man or a woman Come Clean and put it all on the table that restoration may be fully extended.
Of course there are many variables and accountability patterns that must be initiated and set up for the rest of his or her life, but until the secrets are revealed in confidence and safety, to even consider restoration to the pulpit is folly.
The path to the restoration of ministry is blocked until there is a restoration of the relationship a man had with God.
God has to to trust you all over again but from the secret place in prayer, fasting, repentance that sticks, to establish righteousness and true holiness. With no exits to sin against God again.
For they will fall again if pastors are not serious.
The power of the enemy is deprived when the secret is out. And the secret will come out, one way or another.
Restoration to the ministry should be a zero factor until things are properly set in order.
Just like when president Obama announced a date for troop withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, the enemy just waited for that date to come.
Hence, the emergence of ISIS.
It’s the same with sinful ministers that love their sin more than they love God. Devils wait for the day you return to the ministry, and they bring their best sexual sins tools to tempt you to sin again.
Because the devils know that you haven’t killed Goliath in your flesh, but it’s not so much the devils. It’s you. Your thirst to fulfill lust in your mind and flesh.
The whole purpose of keeping the secret alive is to continue in sin.
If we look forward to the day of getting back into the pulpit, then we are missing the point.
A pulpit without God is no different than hell without God.
God will not partner with a preacher that is intent on keeping his sins.
This is what secrecy is all about.
The ability to continue in sin while pretending that everything is all right.
Finally, accountability teams are great and very helpful to ministers caught in Secret Sexual Sins, but if it is to get to the root of the problem, tough love accountability must be instituted from start to finish.
The sinning minister must not have control over establishing any date of return to the pulpit. Should a sinning minister refuse to endure the entire process and submit to Biblical accountability, there is nothing that anyone, including God could do.
Besides, what more important is not the pulpit but his heart.
If his heart is not right, then he is abusing the grace of God and there is no mercy available until there is a “confession and a forsaking.” (see Proverbs 28:13).
Make no mistake about it.
One moment of sin is not worth an eternity in hell.
A fallen minister must be broken before God. The fear of God must be restored. The contrite heart must be the lifestyle for the rest of his or her life.
And secrecy must be destroyed.
There can be no exceptions.
An article regarding Billy Graham’s grandson and his sexual immorality apparently spurned by his wife could be read here.
There is a series called Conquer Series that is out to help men get delivered from porn.
The enemy is in fear of any man breaking free of the strongest stronghold in human history.
Sexual addiction to himself.
“Lovers of themselves..without self control…pleasures rather than lovers of God” as Paul said in 2 Timothy 3.
As I have stated, no one watches porn and never act out sexually in masturbation, adultery, prostitutes, homosexuality, or bisexuality, or bestiality.
Porn is “just the fuel or accelerant” to add to the fire of lust.
It’s not the porn that is the culprit behind your entrapment.
It’s your lust and the means to fulfill that lust by acting out sexually in the world of sexual fantasy.
You have to die.
Paul said in Colossians 3:5 that we must “mortify” or put to death our members. It is the crucified with Christ life.
Jesus said that if we desire to follow Him, we must…
1. DENY OURSELF. (Deprive yourself of power to live in sin).
2. TAKE UP OUR CROSS. (Prepare to put yourself down like putting down an animal).
3. FOLLOW HIM. (All the way, or no way at all).
If you refuse to deny yourself, you will refuse to take up your cross to die upon it, and therefore, you are disqualified by default from follow Him.
The pandemic of porn is effecting men at a much higher rate than 68% because of men that will not admit to sexual addiction. Why? The pleasure for some men and women is too much for them to give up.
But nothing is outside of the power of God to deliver anyone from Secret Sexual Sins (see 1 Corinthians 10:13).
One of the very things that men will be cast into the lake which burns with fire and brimstone for is “sexual immorality.” (see Revelation 21:8).
For so long you have thought that you wouldn’t be judged.
By God’s grace, you were given space to repent. The clock is ticking and God knows already what you have decided to do. Some of you, sadly, will not make it because your love for lust was greater than your love for God.
This is not hopelessness. Hopelessness is a selfish determination of a man or woman that refuses to escape a burning building when they had the chance. Do not yield to hopelessness. Yield to escape no matter what. Get to the place where you must do what you have to do to escape (see Hebrews 12:4).
No one is to blame but the man or woman that refuses to escape when he or she had the chance. The time for accepting responsibility and be accountable begins when you run out of the burning building, never to return.
Billions have missed the chance and are in hell awaiting the fate of fallen men.
It’s a fact.
Jesus said many will be on the road to destruction according to Matthew 7:13-14, but you do not have to be on that road. This will not be incentive enough for many men because of John 3:17-36. The love for sin and darkness outweighs the love for God and light.
But it doesn’t have to be this way for you.
It doesn’t have to end in the pit of fire for failure to kill lust in your heart, mind, and body.
One moment of sinful sexual pleasure is not worth an eternity in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.
At this stage of the game, we need every person that has kept themselves from Secret Sexual Sins and those that “escaped the corruption of the world through lust” to rescue as many men and women as possible before it is too late.
Whether Jesus comes or your death, whichever comes first.
Do what you got to do to escape before it is too late, or you will be numbered with the transgressors.
The trailer of Conquer Series is one of many rescue tools used by the Holy Spirit to pull men and women from the flame. It can be observed here.
It’s not just in Black people that go to these spiritual spooks. Almost all races are cursed with false profits. It’s not a misspell.
Many of you perhaps have fallen under the spell of false prophets.
As I was watching Brian Carn on The Word Network several months ago, he was on TV praying over “holy water.”
Folks, there is no water on earth that is holy. There is no power in water except where Dams have been built to harness its power to provide electricity for cities.
False prophets are counting on your stupidity and mock you at the end of the day.
When you hear spooky things like this, mixed with spiritually spooky music, it’s a signal to everyone to clear the building. But sadly, folk will stay in their seats and fork over thousands, perhaps even millions of dollars.
Proverbs 14:15 says “The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps.”
The word “simple” also means gullible.
Proverbs 22:3 says “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.”
A fish will get caught for the frying pan only once but we have many who are the same fish in the Body of Christ that were caught many times. It’s not a rerun or a rewind. Over time they show up at these places, get that feeling, and then get duped, over and over again.
Several years ago, I was with my wife at the invitation of a friend, attending Michael Freeman’s Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.
At the beginning, each of us paid $124 to attend the conference. I understand, to a certain extent, that you have to cover overhead costs for meetings. As long as it is reasonable. Especially if you are traveling long distances.
There are many pastors that feel the need to go to these conferences. My preference is that I don’t feel the need. If you desire to go, that’s your preference. So we do not need to condemn each other for going or not going.
As Paul said “Let each one be convinced in their own heart.”
However, I am finding that such leadership meetings are not all that necessary for me.
If you haven’t learned to be led by the Holy Spirit by now, you have no business leading others. Especially when you can’t hear God for yourself. And it’s no wonder you can’t hear from God. If you have a life of prayer in unbroken fellowship, eliminating or significantly reducing TV and Internet clutter, keeping yourself from known sexual and other sins, you should be able to hear from God regularly.
At the conclusion of Freeman’s Conference, they started to take up an offering for Michael Freeman. Literally thousands of dollars (received 5 figures at the end of it all) were flying all over the place.
I don’t remember anything significant that was taught there at Freeman’s Leadership Conference to this day. Usually, things stick out or sticks to the ribs of your spirit when you go to certain places that you will remember for years to come.
Instinctively, I smelled a BIG RAT.
I have to disclose that Michael Freeman didn’t initiate the taking up of the offering. It was initiated by other ministers potentially close or perhaps under his association as a covering under Michael Freeman’s ministry.
Michael Freeman never stopped them from giving.
Sadly, I observed the smile on his face. It wasn’t an “I’m flattered” kind of smile.
When you are associated, it is almost normal to watch the money fly.
Another reason why I don’t do church the way that people want you to do church.
I didn’t give another dime that day.
I paid $124 and that was all I was going to give.
It was the easiest personal payday Freeman probably ever had.
Folks, you are not obligated to give more than what is on your heart and as directed by the Lord. Plus, you have to guard your emotions. Emotional giving can ruin you. It is unfortunate that you get swayed to give more than what the Lord placed on your heart.
It’s worse when false preachers, pastors, prophets and teachers take advantage of moments that are emotionally high and drive people to empty their pockets, pocket books, and bank accounts.
Why does this happen?
The Body of Christ has the “spirit of covetousness” abiding in the hearts of many believers.
The false doctrine of the prosperity gospel opened the door for this mess.
Luke 12:15-21 is very clear. Colossians 3:5-7 is clear.
But very few in the Body of Christ is listening to and obeying the Word of God.
On the other hand, there are many sincere, genuine believers that is looking to the Lord for help.
Sometimes the help that they need is critical. Like a person dying of a terminal disease, severe financial hardships, loss of jobs, and other crisis situations.
The Bible is filled with many answers but the Body is full of false profits. It’s a correct spelling. A real prophet of God would never look to take advantage of anyone’s situation. In fact, every time God moves on our behalf, it’s an act of His goodness and graciousness.
Why would a man or woman proceed to “prophe-lie” over a person for financial gain?
Because they are filled with the devil and they are only looking to gain from your misfortune.
Just like the world does to its own. You buy a product and it fails. Or it never performs as advertised. In complete despair and disappointment, their condition is left unresolved.
This is one of the many reasons why people do not trust God because of false prophets that are misfits. In a very modest estimation, many of these false prophets are involved in some form of sexual immorality. Look at what Peter said.
2 Peter 2:1-3 “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”
2 Peter 2:12-17 “But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime.
They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.
They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.
These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.”
When you see “…eyes full of adultery and cannot cease from sin…”
You need to look down where Peter mentioned “following the ways of Balaam….”
Look at what Jesus said to John to the church at Pergamos.
Revelation 2:14-16 “But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.”
Balaam was a double agent.
He found a way to get God to be against Israel by teaching a doctrine. Read closely Numbers chapters 19 through 23, and you will see that sexual immorality was taught by Balaam.
This is not to say that in this incident that you will read at the conclusion of this article that this individual was also teaching sexual immorality, but for the most part, many false prophets make the teaching of sexual immorality a part of their lives, whether secret or public.
Regarding Israel Houghton, it is clear that his adulterous relationship while ministering as worship leader at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church does have transference of spirits involved.
Whether there was any other adulterous relationship in operation or not, may not be the case. But look closely at 1 Corinthians chapters 5 through 7 and you will see that sexual immorality was operating in the house of worship. In the church at Ephesus, Paul had to address sexual immorality in the 5th chapter of Ephesians. In 1 Thessalonians 4, Paul again mentions sexual immorality. In Romans 13, Paul addresses sexual immorality.
Therefore, the conclusion is clear that in most cases, but not in all, sexual immorality tends to be a close running mate to deceptive practices of false prophets.
If only people could stop being stupid and firmly put their trust only in the Lord and God’s Word.
Circumstances and situations do happen. Storms come.
Jesus warned that false prophets would arise to deceive many (see Matthew 24:23-28).
It’s a clear sign of the end times that indicate that the coming of the Lord is nearer than we first thought.
Let’s get our heads out of the sand that keep our eyes open.
Learn to go to the Lord and never put your trust in man (see Jeremiah 17:5-10).
The story about a certain false prophet taking millions could be read here.
Each Sunday, you get that connection. You take in more than his words.
His “charisma.” His “personality.” The “eye” connection.
Service ends and you can’t wait for him to say a few words to you. Makes you feel special. Uplifted. Inspired.
The “connection” goes beyond words and a sermon.
Suddenly, he confides in small talk and finds that you have some wisdom.
He takes things to the next level.
Meeting for lunch.
He takes in your “womanly advice.”
He talks about his troubles in his marriage, but you know that anything he says about his marriage will be one-sided. He makes his wife out to be very bad and puts himself in a good light. The pastor admits some “mistakes” but covers the real sins of his life.
His porn and masturbation habits.
He is sexually out of control.
It isn’t long before he tosses phrases out to you that goes beyond suggestions.
But you give in to his advances.
In a moment. In the twinkling of an eye, you find yourself in a hotel room with a man of God. You forget about the Word of God, holiness, righteousness, and purity for one moment of sinful pleasure.
You found out a lot about this “man of God.”
He wasn’t the kind of person you thought he would be.
He treated you like a sexual rag doll. You felt dirty and ashamed. You even felt taken advantaged of but you went along with it because you thought he “loved you.”
Each sinful encounter in that room felt like you were doing him a favor. Giving him your ear. Easing his “marital pain,” but you were getting something too. No woman engaged in adultery with a “man of God” leaves without something. The excitement, the passion, the fulfillment of lust that leads to death.
In exchange of the dopamine by illegal sex, you think that you would get a pastor’s attention. Or more preferable, “his male attention” at the expense of his wife. You pretend for a moment that you are his wife. You wanted what his wife was legally entitled to and participated in destroying a man’s marriage.
You must remember that how he betrayed his God and his wife, sooner or later, he will betray you. As soon as someone else comes along, he leaves you to pursue another body.
Sexual connection gives the false sense of security. Sexual connection is only validated in holy matrimony. Violating marriage vows is just another stepping stone of a man’s inability to discipline himself to abstain from every other woman.
When an adulteress willingly participates in violating that vow, it is very rare that the sinful relationship survives. At the end, an adulteress is left with nothing. The security she once thought is fleeting.
The woman at Jacob’s well had such a relationship with men (John 4). The security that she sought just continued to evaporate with each man. The last man that she was with, the Lord Jesus told her that he wasn’t her husband. She gave up on marriage. Whether the men before her gave her a written note of divorce because they couldn’t deal with her, or the other way around is something to consider.
Whether it was just a looking just to fulfill sexual desires is also something to consider.
It’s not uncommon for a woman to use her femininity to have power over a man.
But in many instances, women will use sex for a higher purpose.
Sex with a pastor is sometimes that high purpose.
Her feminine power lured that pastor away from God and his wife. Or the pastor was a predator to begin with and took advantage of an emotionally unstable woman. Then it was probably a calculated maneuver by a woman to destroy a man of God.
It’s not unheard of because just as unholy men are sent on assignment by the devil, unholy women are sent the same way.
Then there is the women that just throws aside any discipline and allowed themselves to be duped to pursue a relationship that she wasn’t supposed to have in the first place.
Perversion in the house of the Lord continues.
The coming of the Lord is seemingly delayed and liberties that would normally be shunned are initiated and desperately pursued. Pastors are aware that temptation comes in various ways. satan drops his seed of lust in supermarket stands, TV commercials, movies, sports that we watch each week, Internet news, watching weather and news reports of sexually provocatively dressed women.
In church, they come in, wearing things that are only worthy of strip clubs, bars, and other sexual venues.
Sadly, provocatively dressed women are on the prowl and will enter the house of worship as plain as day. There is no such thing as covering up in the house of worship. Fashion statements is the norm to attract male attention.
It’s now hell instead of holiness for holy men of God.
There is no guess work to a sexually provocatively dressed woman’s intent.
Sadly pastors are on the prowl. Looking for anyone that is “fair game.”
Like clock work, they use their charm and finesse to abuse any woman willing to get into bed with a predator.
How does one know that a pastor is a predator?
When it is more than one woman. This is determined, not by how many bodies they have had in their bed, but in their fantasy.
Matthew 5:27-30 and Proverbs 27:20 clearly indicate that the mind of a man could have had several hundreds of women.
You are just another body on the list.
Thank God that there is power in the blood of Jesus.
We can shut the door to Secret and Overt Sexual Sin.
When you come to church, dress appropriately. You come to church to worship God, not to be worshipped sexually.
Pastors must fight to stay on his face before the Lord at all times, and live like Joseph, ready to run from Potiphar’s wife. More importantly, never find yourself in a situation that makes it necessary to run. Be aware of your surroundings and contacts as much as possible.
Never assume that it will not happen to you.
Like clockwork, the devil watches for that one opportune moment to bring his best to destroy you.
The most unsuspecting women and the most boisterous woman, and everything in-between must be watched. Leave nothing to chance. Change what you’ve been watching. In fact, deliberately, and significantly reduce towards eliminating movies, TV programming, Internet, social media, and other forms of contact.
The seed of devils called seducing spirits and doctrine of devils is all the time lurking to gain access to your heart, mind, and body.
At home, whatever marital situations are ongoing, be Christlike and work to resolve reconcilable situations. There is no such thing as an irreconcilable difference. An irreconcilable difference is childish gibberish.
If God can forgive a man for sin, there is nothing in the Bible that says that we can’t reconcile a marriage. While the Bible says that sexual immorality is grounds for divorce, even that could be forgiven.
It takes the grace of God to forgive a deliberate act of betrayal, but it doesn’t have to get to that level.
Learn to head it off before it gets to that level.
Husbands and wives do not have to be “headstrong” in relationships.
Learn to treat each other with respect, decency, and honesty.
Learn to forgive as Christ forgave us.
Recognize that no difference has the power to overcome the grace to forgive.
Talk openly and honestly about any sexual issues. Overcome the embarrassment and deal with this subject. The enemy takes pleasure in dividing you when you should be dividing the devil into pieces.
If you are a woman looking to cross the line, control yourself. It’s not worth it.
Hebrews 13:4 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 is clearly against you.
What gains you may think you have is instantly wiped away at the conclusion of sin.
As James tells us, “…sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.”
Proverbs 7 tells us that the sexually immoral woman is the “staircase descending into hell, into the chambers of death,” for any man that commits adultery.
And when you die without repentance, you will descend with him to your cell block in hell. That’s what the Word “chambers” means in the Hebrew.
If a man of God attempts to seduce you, turn up the alarm and expose that predator. Sound the alarm. Do not give in to your connection desires. Resist the temptation and run far away from that church. If he is married, tell his wife and leave the church.
Holiness is far better than hell.
A man of God on many occasions have asked his audience “Are you fighting against sin?”
In this age where sexual immorality is abounding in many believers, it is no different than asking the question “Do you love the Lord more than your sex sins?”
You can’t love or have both. Just like we can’t love God and money at the same time (see Matthew 6:24).
From the time that you’ve experienced a “wet dream,” or you’ve fondled yourself to orgasm, this fight continues until you gain control over your urges, your thoughts that drive your urges, and your flesh from desiring to fulfill those urges.
It is evident in men and woman that sexuality was a placed in us by God as a gift to be shared in marriage between one man and one woman. Sin changed this. An insatiable desire to have it more and more. And in some cases, many believers desire to have sex with more than one person.
This perversion is not from God.
We all know that it comes from the desires to participate in sexual sin, lurking in our members.
Proverbs 27:20 says “Hell and destruction are never full, so the eyes of a man are never satisfied.”
When Jesus came to Jacob’s well and spoke with the Samaritan woman (John chapter 4), she had five husbands and the one she was with wasn’t her husband.
It is clear in these Scriptures that when a man or woman is out of control, they will “…suppress the truth in unrighteousness” to deceitfully justify masturbation. (see Romans 1:18)
Yes, believers will move from the place of self control to out of control. To engage in sin, a believer must suppress the truth of God’s Word. Take off the armor of light. Leave the Name of the Lord outside the door of darkness, and engage in sin. For the devil demands that you leave righteousness at the door of the den of evil.
The only way a believer can sin is when he takes his armor of light off. You can’t sin with your armor of light on. When a military person wears the uniform, their whole demeanor changes. The mentality changes. When a military person is in conflict, life or death, his or her whole mentality changes. When orders are given, their whole mentality changes.
When we have the armor of light on, our whole mentality changes. We are not the same. Just like the transition from civilian to soldier, sailor, marine, airman takes place after training, so it is in the Spirit.
Everything about us changes.
How much more the believers in the Body of Christ.
In Romans 13:14, Paul said, “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”
When you put on Christ you are putting on the armor.
Romans 13:11-12 “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.”
In 1 Corinthians 9:27 “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”
Many of us desire God and His righteousness. But the desire to withstand and withhold ourselves from displeasing God is easily suppressed because the mind is made up to have that which is forbidden.
When a person asks a question about whether masturbation is permitted or prohibited, they already know the answer. If God permitted it, there would be no need to ask if it is permitted. Just like marriage and sex. It is natural for a man and a woman that is married to have sex. There is no need to ask the question.
Just get married and the rest is…………natural.
It’s the areas where there is no Scripture or there seems to be no Scripture where we look for permission.
I believe that Jesus addressed masturbation by not using the word. Just like Jesus, as the Word gave the Word on homosexuality in Leviticus 18 and only mentioned marriage between one man and one woman in Matthew 19:4-5 as the answer regarding prohibiting same sex unions.
Of course homosexuals will argue that Jesus didn’t mention one word about homosexuality. But He did. Remember in John 1, the apostle of the Lamb said that “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God….”
So because Jesus is the Word of God, and He was in the beginning with God, Jesus gave the Word regarding homosexuality in Leviticus 18. Matthew 19:4-5 further gives evidence that Jesus never changed His mind. Jesus cannot be One with the Father if Jesus disagreed with the Father.
So to say that Jesus never said anything about homosexuality, you have to come up with evidence that Jesus never existed before He became flesh. You would have to come up with irrefutable evidence that the pre-incarnate Jesus didn’t happen.
With masturbation, you have to come up with irrefutable evidence that Jesus permits a man or a woman to masturbate.
The book of Leviticus also speaks of “discharge” or seminal discharge and a man is unclean for 7 days. It never spoke of a man manually stimulating himself to ejaculate. According to Scripture, this gives the appearance of a normal sexual activity between husband and wife, or “wet dreams.”
Now here is the Scripture.
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”
Notice that the Lord mentioned two members that are involved with solo sex.
When you are watching porn, you do not have to be with that person to commit adultery.
Just looking to lust after her flesh is enough to declare that you have committed adultery. But you take things to the next level. You look to “….fulfill the desires of the flesh and the mind.”
You begin to make “….provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”
Then James 1:15 manifests “…Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full- grown, brings forth death.”
Everyone knows that a man and a woman must use their hands and eyes, or images that appear before us to arouse sexuality.
How does one fight these urges?
Paul said in Romans 6:11-14 “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
Hebrews 12:4 says “You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.”
Look back up in Matthew 5:27-30. This is exactly what Jesus meant.
It is a metaphor.
How far are you willing to go to stop yourself from obeying the urge for solo sex?
One moment of pleasure can plunge you straight to hell.
Is it worth it? Is one moment of touching yourself sexually worth going to hell over?
If you do not believe that you can go to hell over this, are you willing to take that chance?
Is the risk worth it?
Some of you believe that the risks outweigh the penalty because “…suppressing the truth in unrighteousness” is deceptive. Remember what Jeremiah 17:9 says.
“The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?”
In light of all this information, the ball is in your court.
You have a decision to make.
Sexual immorality is MOAB, the Mother Of All Battles. Sexual immorality is the Goliath of our times. We will either continue in solo sex bondage, or fight the urge to be and remain free.
Kirk and Kanye will be doing a perverted “gospel” album.
When darkness has a hold on you, the effects are devastating. Looking at the face of Kirk, this Scripture comes to mind.
Proverbs 13:15b, “…the way of the transgressor is hard.”
I was attacked a couple of days ago. As I was looking at the News on my iPhone and a porn site popped up twice. I was prepared to always look away and I immediately deleted the site. satan is not going to get me ever again to click a site to intentionally watch porn.
While there are many ways to head this attack off, I know that the Lord is strong and mighty in my life and that like Paul, “...nothing shall separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus” (see Romans 8:31-39).
When you see the video, you will see no quoting of Scriptures by Kirk to support any of his statements. When you depart from God, the first thing that goes is the Word of God.
The Word in Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision the people perish.”
You are either involved in the sin of homosexuality, or you are still in porn and masturbation, or both. It’s debatable, but one pastor told me that masturbation is the door to homosexuality.
Here is the reason.
