Perry Stone & Acting Inappropriately With Females

With Coronavirus and other national issues, we need all hands on deck.

Over the last few years, in watching Perry Stone, it’s clear that with certain messages that he was preaching, he was onto something. In particular with the end times.

However, in listening to some of his messages, my interest were perked when he would make some statements that were “extra Biblical.”

When you hear extra Biblical teaching, it’s also called sensationalism.

The whole purpose of sensationalizing the Scriptures is to get people interested to buy your material. You’re selling CD’s, Books, and other paraphernalia, and the Bible tells us the laborer is worthy of his hire.”

Paul said that “They that preach the gospel should live of the gospel.”

It was a command of the Lord but even Paul refused to take proceeds from the people so as not to discredit the gospel. We’re entitled but we can deny the entitlement for the sake of the gospel.

We don’t want to be PEDDLERS, or hucksters, or hirelings.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (NKJV Strong’s) “For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.”

Also………….2 Corinthians 4:2 (NKJV Strong’s) “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”

A ministry called by the Lord will be paid for where you don’t have to use any manipulative means to pay for it. But when you constantly hear about these sales and other things, it brings into question what you’re really doing this for.

Why am I mentioning these things?

When you’re working to make ministry work, it’s your labor. You will work tirelessly to produce results to appear successful. It’s a measurement. And you’re placing a demand that’s unreasonable and unrealistic.

Why?

It can’t be humanly sustained.

Dr. Ernest Cameron, my pastor, once told us, “What God calls for, He provides for.” This is to say that God does the work through us so we can rest.

So when I see questionable things, sometimes, not all of the time, it leads to stories like………

“Acting inappropriately” with female staffers.

These are precursor signs that a sexual immoral act is about to take place.

When you’re at your most vulnerable, these things will occur at the time of sexual temptation. HALT!!!!!

HUNGRY

ANGRY

LONELY

TIRED

Of course there’s other emotional episodes that we go through.

Dr. Archibald Hart said that sex is used as a pick me up when you’re down, or to reward you.

Some of you may remember Fred Price Jr. had done the same thing but it wasn’t called “acting inappropriately.” It was called “indiscretion.”

Which means that something was done and the use of other words was deliberately designed to cover up the actual sin. Whenever there’s a requirement to step aside from ministry, while we don’t know what happened, when it deals with males and females, we don’t need to guess.

Adultery or sexual immorality of some sort took place. If not, why is there a need to step down for a season?

When I came out of porn and masturbation several years ago, I never imagined how deep Secret Sexual Sins would be. The Spirit of God told me that this is the most heavily defended demonic sin in the Body of Christ. Self gratification (masturbation) is the most difficult part to break because of the hidden life AND QUICK GRATIFICATION without relationship.

Also, no STD’s or pregnancies.

A song came out several years ago with words that describe exactly what the Lord meant.

But it’s been changed a bit to underscore the chains of sexual sins.

The words are paraphrased.

Sexual sin will keep you longer than you’re willing to stay. Cost you more than what you’re willing to pay, and take you further than you’re willing to go. I will add, “Will bury you if you don’t let go.”

With Perry Stone and all ministers, we have our work cut out for us. The lusts of the flesh within us is constantly raging. In a flash, a scantily clad woman will come before our eyes. And then again, they may not be wearing provocative clothing.

The imaginations of our hearts and minds can easily conjure up a vision within our minds and according to Dr. William Struthers, he said that men are wired for sex.

Just an image is enough to start our cycle of sexual addiction.

Dr. Patrick Carnes said this about the cycle.

It starts with thoughts/fantasy, ritual, acting out, and ends with remorse.

To break the cycle, you must stop where it begins.

Thoughts/fantasy.

With images coming at a man, it just take a snap of the finger, like a flash while taking a picture, and we’re done. Unless we “cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.”

Why am I explaining this?

If you’ve been reading the material that I’ve blogged, it’s consistent in terms of men being wired and the cycle of sexual addiction. These two things are connected to the lust within the hearts of men.

Remember James 1:14-15?

That’s another Scripture that I’ve used to underscore the place where lust in a man’s heart abides. The wire and the cycle is defeated with the help of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 10:13) to abstain and subdue his desires.

This is tied to 1 Corinthians 9:27.

Jesus told us to “Watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”

With Perry Stone, a lapse of watching and praying may have taken place.

When you’re not consistently disciplined, when you’re around the opposite or even the same sex, you’ll act inappropriately when you don’t maintain your discipline.

Pastor Roger Jamison told this to me from, I believe, H.B. London that sexual sin will ask you again and again if you want to engage. All the way up to your last breath, to see if your “No” means “No.”

Lurking within our members is the desire to break free of restraints. Restraints are in place to protect us from the consequences of our actions. But when we deliberately disregard these restraints, we commit the violations of the “FOUR “E’s.”

Elitism, Empowerment, Entitlement, Expediency.

This may not be the case with Perry Stone but it’s common among professionals and clergy.

  1. Elitism– the attitude or behavior of a person or group who regard themselves as belonging to an elite:

2. Empowerment– give (someone or themselves) the authority or power to do something:

3. Entitlement– the fact of having a right to something:

4. Expediency– the quality of being convenient and practical despite possibly being improper or immoral; convenience:

You could be in a place where you’re not supposed to be like being alone in certain places. This is the place predetermined to be a safe place where the chances of getting away with a premeditated or preconceived sexual encounter or inappropriate sexual behavior will take place.

Once a person feels safe, they engage in advances in hopes of gratifying themselves. But usually, it’s the hidden life (masturbation) of a person that leads to this.

Pornography, (just an accelerant) serves as the basis where you take things to the next level. When you’re dissatisfied with solo sex (masturbation) and you desire to take things to a physical experience, you will cross lines.

This is NOT to say that this is the case with Perry Stone.

Porn is connected to masturbation. That’s the reason why porn is so difficult to break because in this vile human trafficking, prostitution, strip club connected forum, you’re pretending to have a sexual encounter with that image on the screen or strip club.

The desires of a man is explained in Proverbs 27:20.

David took things to the next level. From the appearance of Scripture, David already observed Bathsheba for some time. The lust for her was building up until he had had enough and suppressed his relationship with God to sin.

To commit adultery with a woman or man, you must step out of the holy secret place. Secret Sexual Sins happen when you’re out of the secret place with God.

This time, he took it to the next level. After Bathsheba conceived, the plan of the cover up took it to murdering his trusted warrior. According to Levitcus 20:10, the adulterer and the adulteress were to be put to death. But the Lord put away the sin of David, but David wasn’t let off the hook.

David didn’t finish well as some would have you to believe. The Scriptures is clear that David finished poorly. The only crowning achievement attributed to the end of his reign was the material given to build Solomon’s Temple.

When we refuse to confess and lay bear our inappropriate action or indiscretion, usually it’s in hopes that time would lapse so we could make a return to the pulpit and make an attempt to regain what we’ve lost in sin.

We call it restoration.”

The Scriptures allow for restoration.

Galatians 6:1-2 (NKJV Strong’s) “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

However, just know that it doesn’t end there. Constant watching and praying must be maintained to stay free of Secret Sexual Sins.
