Years ago, when the Lord delivered me from pornography, I came across many sites to help me understand my former addiction.
I came across a different article called The Seamless Fabric, parts of which could be read here
Somewhere in my blog, the full article is available.
Drugs is connected to sexual immorality.
In many of my blogs, I’ve shared how porn stars/prostitutes would use drugs and alcohol to help them cope with the on-going sex acts, or the next shooting scene.
The women would be raped or knew that they would be severely sexually abused and they needed to place their mind in “suspended animation” to get through the utter humiliation.
Craig Gross, according to this article reported in the Christian Post, demonstrated that other forms of addiction and justifying it with the use of medical marijuana, is cool.
Cigarette smoking is the gateway to the drug culture. We all know this.
But what’s disappointing is when we offer deliverance from pornography and support the use of drugs, seamlessly connected to porn, to be a part of a person’s worship, it’s sad.
XXXChurch does fall under the guise of Catholicism.
That’s one thing I’ve noticed.
It’s clear that when there’s a clear confusion and massive conflict of theology, sooner or later, the underlying things come to the surface.
My point is not to blast Craig Gross, but to help expose underlying issues.
Complete deliverance is what we need.
Not excuses and extra Biblical justification that clearly conflicts with the harmony of Scripture.
Such as…………God made weed so since He made weed, we can smoke it.
God may have put the plant in the earth, but man, in his fallen condition, extract it from the ground to abuse (abnormally use) the element.
God didn’t roll the joint and handed it to you.
Just because marijuana, heroin, meth, cocaine, and other drugs are found in the earth, these elements, when used improperly, in the hands of mixed up, sinful man, is deadly, addictive, and dangerous.
Chemical dependence is just another chain to keep man bound.
To worship the Lord declares that you’re no longer dependent upon yourself to make you happy. To worship the Lord means that you’re a “living sacrifice.”
Like Paul said, “I die daily.”
The Lord Jesus said “If any man desires to follow Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
IF you can’t sacrifice marijuana or any addiction, it will inevitably sacrifice you.
Your body is offered as a living sacrifice that you may “…prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.”
John 4:24 means what it says.
John 4:24 (NKJV Strong’s) “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
We don’t use natural means (dope) to enhance communing with the Lord.
Some will argue that we use musical instruments.
Can an instrument, by itself, enhance worship?
It takes a person, skilled in music, to be used by the Holy Spirit, to play or sing skillfully.
It’s called Divine Inspiration.
Therefore, the HOLY Spirit will not inspire a person to use a substance, known to impair a person’s judgment, to enhance a person’s worship of the Lord.
Such inspiration is DEMONIC INSPIRATION.
God doesn’t authorize the use of drugs to worship Him.
He uses us as He pleases without controlled substances.
In the book of 1st Samuel, we see the sons of Aaron misuse the Altar of Incense.
We don’t speculate what they’ve done.
However, we see that any misuse of the OT temple artifacts can be costly.
Nadab and Abihu decided to abuse the temple and it cost them their lives.
We are in the NT and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 3:17 still stands.
The absurdity of smoking dope to enhance a person’s worship of God is an open invitation to keep many seeking deliverance from porn to remain trapped in marijuana, or other forms of drugs and alcohol.

What sinful male pastors mistakenly think about women in porn.
1. That women like doing porn movies.
2. That there is nothing harmful done to women in porn.
3. That free Internet porn is….free.
4. That there is nothing wrong with porn.
5. That hardly anybody in church really watches this stuff.
After listening to this interview, you will have second thoughts about what you are doing.
This interview was emailed to me and I believe we need to expose the reality behind pornography if we are going to deal seriously with Secret Sexual Sins.
Expletives will be used. Listener discretion is advised.
Just last month I (Matt) interviewed Donny Pauling, former Playboy producer @ York University, Toronto. You can listen to the audio now on youtube. Pass it on.
